Purpose
Most custody failures happen during recovery, not during everyday use. This session walks you through restoring a wallet from your actual backup materials on test hardware, timed and observed, to surface problems while stakes are low.
What we test
- Seed phrase legibility and completeness on paper or metal backups
- Passphrase entry accuracy under mild time pressure
- Coordination between multiple signers in a multisig setup
- Whether family members named in your inheritance plan can locate materials
Group format
Recovery drills run monthly with a maximum of four participants. Each person completes their drill privately while others wait in a separate area. Individual private drills are available at the standard rate plus a scheduling premium.
Outcome
You leave with a recovery report noting what worked, what failed, and specific remediation steps ranked by urgency.
