What clients report

I had two Ledgers and a paper backup I wrote in 2021. During the quarterly review, Min-seok found that my second device was still on firmware from 2022 with a known vulnerability. The update took fifteen minutes. I would not have checked on my own.

We set up a 2-of-3 multisig after the session. The written summary explained each signer's role in language my parents could follow. That alone justified the fee, though I wish we had booked the inheritance documentation add-on at the same time — rescheduling cost us an extra week.
— Elena V., family office holder, Pangyo
The recovery drill exposed that my metal backup had one word stamped incorrectly. I had never tried to read it back word by word. Fixing the stamp at home was straightforward once I knew.
— Kenji M., recovery readiness check, Seoul
Practical and unhurried. Yuna sent the session notes within three days as promised. My only reservation is that parking near the office is limited — arrive ten minutes early.
— Soo-jin H., hardware wallet audit, Suwon

Extended account: The Han family quarterly review

The Han family held Bitcoin across three Coldcard devices in a 2-of-3 arrangement. Mr. Han managed signing; his wife held one backup and their adult son held another. No one had verified the arrangement since setup in 2020.

During a four-hour extended quarterly review, we mapped each signer’s actual access against the intended design. The son’s backup was stored in a location he had moved away from two years prior. Mrs. Han’s passphrase was written on a card that had faded enough to be ambiguous on two characters.

We completed a same-day recovery test on spare hardware, updated the written custody summary, and scheduled a follow-up drill for the son at his current address. The family now books joint reviews every September.
