About System Maple Line
Founded in 2019 in Yongin, System Maple Line provides session-based cold wallet maintenance calendars for individuals and families holding assets offline in South Korea.
Registered business
System Maple Line Co., Ltd. is the official registered business name operating this practice. We were established in 2019 in Giheung-gu, Yongin, Gyeonggi Province, to address a gap we observed among local Bitcoin holders: excellent devices purchased, but no recurring process to keep backups, firmware, and family knowledge current.
How we began
Our founder, Min-seok Chae, spent six years in corporate IT security before moving entirely to personal custody advisory. The shift came after helping three colleagues recover from preventable wallet failures — a water-damaged paper seed, an outdated firmware exploit, and a passphrase recorded in a format the surviving spouse could not interpret.
System Maple Line was built around a simple premise: cold storage requires maintenance the same way a safe deposit box or property deed does. The calendar, not the device, is what keeps holdings secure over decades.
Our approach
We schedule sessions rather than sell subscriptions. Each appointment produces a written record. We never request private keys, seed phrases sent over email, or remote access to your machines. Our Yongin office has no persistent network connection in the review room.
The team
Min-seok Chae — Lead custody advisor. CCSP-certified, eight years working with hardware wallet ecosystems.
Yuna Park — Session coordinator and documentation specialist. Manages client calendars and inheritance summary templates.
James Okonkwo — Recovery drill facilitator. Former bank vault operations manager, joined 2022.
Values we hold
Custody advice should be specific to your situation, not generic. Sessions should produce artifacts your family can use. We charge for our time and expertise, not for access to a platform or dashboard.
Community
We host quarterly open evenings at our Yongin office for holders who want to meet others taking long-term custody seriously. These are educational gatherings, not sales events.
